UNIFAB Commission on the Assessment of Damages Arising from Infringement

On 24 March 2021, Maurice Nussenbaum and Blanche Feauveaux, partners at Sorgem Evaluation, co-chaired – alongside Emmanuelle Hoffman, a partner at the firm Hoffman – the panel organised by UNIFAB on the assessment of damages for infringement.

This session, organised by Delphine Sarfati-Sobreira, Chief Executive of UNIFAB, provided an opportunity to review recent case law on the assessment of damages arising from counterfeiting and the proposals set out in the Information Report on theassessment of the fight against counterfeiting, tabled on 9 December 2020 before the National Assembly, as well as to hear testimonies from UNIFAB members, notably Jean-Claude Masson, Head of Anti-Counterfeiting Legal Affairs at Hermès.
