Sorgem Evaluation analysed the market value of the equity of a specialist retail chain with a view to acquiring a minority stake in the company. The valuation approach is based on a multi-criteria methodology, utilising both an intrinsic approach based on the discounting of projected cash flows (the Discounted Cash Flow or DCF method) and a comparative approach based on the market capitalisation of a sample of listed companies in the sector.
