Sorgem Evaluation advised Gault & Frémont
For Gault & Frémont, the French market leader in the design and manufacture of paper and cardboard packaging, Sorgem Evaluation carried out valuations of convertible bonds and preference shares.
Founded in 1850, Gault & Frémont is the French market leader in the design and manufacture of paper and cardboard packaging. It markets its products to wholesale distributors and major clients such as supermarkets and hypermarkets, flour millers, bakery and pastry manufacturers, and players in the out-of-home catering sector.
At the end of 2014, the shareholders of Gault & Frémont announced the sale of their stake to funds managed by the private equity firm UI Gestion, alongside other shareholders, who invested through a newly created company.
As part of this transaction, various categories of financial instruments were issued, in particular preference shares and convertible bonds. Sorgem Evaluation was commissioned to provide its opinion on the current value of these securities.
