The CNEJEF (National Association of Financial Forensic Experts), chaired by Claire Karsenti, a Partner at Sorgem Evaluation, co-organised a morning session on 28 September 2023, in collaboration with the CNEJGE and the CNECJ, dedicated to financial expertise in criminal matters, held in the Pierre Drai auditorium at the Paris Judicial Court. During the morning session, the experts were able to exchange views with representatives from the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office, the financial investigation unit and the “J2 section on organised financial crime” of the Paris Judicial Court, as well as with the financial adviser to the Chancellery. Maurice Nussenbaum, Chairman of Sorgem Evaluation and Honorary Chairman of the CNEJEF, spoke on the valuation of corporate equity interests, corporate assets and intangible assets, whilst Claire Karsenti spoke on quantifying the benefits derived from a breach, particularly in the context of Judicial Agreements in the Public Interest (CJIP).
