The rankings in the ‘Private Equity’ section have recently been updated by Décideurs Magazine / Leaders League. Of particular note is the introduction of a new ranking for ‘the best private equity and portfolio valuation advisers’. SORGEM Evaluation features in this ranking as a key player.
This new ranking lists firms in this sector that act, in particular, as independent experts to provide their opinion on the value of private equity funds’ unlisted holdings. SORGEM Evaluation is thus involved, in particular, with holdings of Eurazeo and NextStage.
In the “Private Equity” section, SORGEM Evaluation appears in the 2020 rankings under two other headings, as:
- an “excellent” player in advising management teams, reflecting SORGEM Evaluation’s leading position in the implementation and valuation of management packages, as well as in discussions on the subject with the tax authorities during audits or disputes;
- an “excellent” player in financial valuation and the auditing of capital contributions and mergers.
In total, SORGEM Evaluation features in twelve Leaders League rankings published in 2019 or 2020, in the categories of Private Equity, Litigation Support, Restructuring & Companies in Difficulty, and Mergers & Acquisitions, with eleven of these listings designating the firm as a “key player” or “excellent”.
