Abuse of economic dependence in the telecommunications sector

Sorgem Evaluation acted as defence counsel in a dispute concerning an alleged abuse of economic dependence.

We advised one of the leading players in the telecommunications sector in a dispute with a subcontractor who was suing the client for allegedly causing the subcontractor’s difficulties by abusing its position of economic dependence.

Sorgem Evaluation produced a critical analysis of the economic factors that might constitute an abuse of economic dependence, as well as the cause of the subcontractor’s difficulties.
