Anti-competitive practices (in the cleaning products market)

SORGEM EVALUATION carried out an economic study into the impact on prices of anti-competitive practices in the cleaning products sector.

Following the Competition Authority’s statement of objections (May 2013) in the cleaning products and insecticides sector and in the hygiene and personal care products sector, Sorgem Evaluation carried out a critical analysis of the 24 models used by the Competition Authority’s rapporteurs to estimate the effects of the alleged practices on prices.

The case is currently pending before the Paris Court of Appeal.
