SORGEM EVALUATION ASSISTED BROADBAND PACIFIQUE IN ITS DISPUTE WITH THE TERRITORY OF THE WALLIS AND FUTUNA ISLANDS. THE PARIS ADMINISTRATIVE COURT OF APPEAL AWARDED BROADBAND PACIFIQUE NEARLY 300 M F CFP.

On 5 November 2019, the 3rd Chamber of the Paris Administrative Court of Appeal ruled in favour of Broadband Pacifique, awarding it nearly 300 million Pacific francs in compensation for the loss it suffered as a result of the wrongful decisions of thesenior administrator of the Wallis and Futuna Islands territory, in particular his refusal to grant the request for interconnection with the territory’s postal and telecommunications service.

This judgement was upheld by the Council of State at the end of July 2020.
